Sizing & Care
TO MAINTAIN YOUR SARTORIAL ELEGANCE AND REFINEMENT IS NOT SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN, OR SHOULD TAKE LIGHTLY. HOWEVER, BEFORE YOU START TO FRET, WORRY NOT. WE HAVE PUT TOGETHER A SHORT AND RATHER HANDY LIST OF THINGS TO DO TO ENSURE YOUR HEMINGSWORTH SHORTS ALWAYS LOOK RATHER SPIFFY.
1. RINSE YOUR SHORTS WITH CLEAN WATER AFTER EVERY USE
Our shorts are put through rigorous wet and dry rub tests in both ocean and pool, meaning you’ll be wearing a garment designed to last for years to come. However like everything of value, Hemingsworth shorts do need to be looked after. Simply rinsing them in cold water after you’ve been swimming will help keep them looking rather splendid. Chlorine can not only ruin the shape of your shorts it can accelerate the fading of the fabric.
2. OILS, LOTIONS AND POTIONS AND WHY TO BE WARY OF THEM
Sunscreen, tanning oils, harmful detergents and cosmetics can be harmful to your Hemingsworth shorts. So if you do get some on your swimwear, please wash them as soon as possible at 30 degrees and always avoid tumble drying.
3. DRYING NATURALLY
Modern electric drying machines are all well and good, but they haven’t been designed with tailored shorts in mind and they could ruin the shape, fabric and padding. These should be avoided if at all possible. Far better to lay your shorts out flat somewhere; this will stop them getting wrinkled, and let Mother Nature dry them for you.
